Three Majlis deputies have signed a letter demanding that President Rohani and his deputies and cabinet ministers file a statement of their wealth upon taking office with the Judiciary, as required by Article 142 of the Constitution. Deputies Mohammad Kowsari, Ahmad Salek and Ebrahim Karkhaneh said the men had failed to do so despite taking office as much as five months ago. Ahmad Pur-Mokhtar had earlier announced that almost all those required to file such financial statements had done so.
