The Wonderful brand of American-grown pistachios has recalled some of its products due to possible salmonella contamination. The US Centers for Disease Control said at least 11 people in nine states have become ill since December 12. Symptoms include diarrhea, fever and abdominal cramps. The pistachios are also sold under the brand names of Paramount Farms and Trader Joe’s and have “best if used by” dates of October 26, October 27 and November 2.
