Two more Iranian trucks have been burned in the Kurdish area of Turkey, as Kurdish rebels appear to be targeting Iranian interests even more than Turkish ones.
Since the ceasefire between the Turkish government and the PKK rebels broke down last month, the pipeline carrying Iranian natural gas into Turkey has been blown up (but repaired in five days), a Turkish train headed for Iran and an Iranian train that had just entered Turkey have been attacked, an Iranian bus in Turkey was fired on and the driver killed and three Iranian freight trucks have been stopped in Turkey and set afire after the drivers escaped.
The PKK is assumed to be behind all the attacks, although it has said nothing.
There has also been no explanation for the focus on Iranian interests.
