The Office of the President has announced that Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria have agreed on a joint tourist visa for their four countries. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan suggested it be called a Shamgen visa, a takeoff on the Europe-wide Schengen visa and the ancient name for Syria, Sham.
