Alireza Alinejad (photo), brother of Masih Alinejad, who has organized opposition to the dress code from her base in New York, has seen his eight-year prison term upheld by an appeals court. He received five years for “conspiracy to act against national security,” two years for “insulting the Leader” and one year for “propaganda against the regime.” His sister said the sentence was actually for the crime of being her brother.
