Mohammad Sahiya was in Bangalore for English language studies. He was stopped last Tuesday by Constable Gangadhara for riding a motorcycle without a helmet. But the constable then discovered the Iranian didn’t have a driver’s license either. When the constable started to issue a fine, Sahiya grabbed his arm and twisted it, dislocating the officer’s shoulder, according to Indian news reports. Sahiya was then taken off to jail and booked for assaulting the constable.
