Ehsan Hadadi, Iran’s very successful discus thrower, has announced his retirement at age 38 after coming in second in the Asian Games, just behind fellow Iranian Hossain Rasuli. Hadadi is the only Iranian to medal in athletics in the Olympics, winning the silver medal in discus at the 2012 Olympics.
