Foreign Ministry Director General Hamid Baeedinejad (photo) said the closure of the Iran nuclear weapons issue at the IAEA leaves Israel isolated in the world. The Fars news agency quoted him as saying Israel’s isolation clearly showed at the IAEA Board of Governors meeting that closed Iran’s file. However, Israel isn’t a member of the IAEA so it isn’t clear how it was isolated at the agency. What’s more, Baeedinejad failed to mention Pakistan and India, two other nuclear weapons states that are not IAEA members. Iran regularly talks about Israel’s nuclear weapons program, but somehow neglects to note Pakistan’s or India’s.
