Iraq has accepted delivery of the Iraqi Air Force’s first F-16 fighter plane (photo). The F-16 is still in Texas and won’t arrive in Iraq until September, so it won’t be playing a role in opposing the current advance of Sunni terrorists. Eventually Iraq will get 36 of the F-16s.
