Of the top four teams in the Asian Cup, Japan, Australia and South Korea are ranked ahead of Iran by FIFA. The fourth team, Uzbekistan, ranks behind Iran—but it rose more slots than any other Asian team in February rankings; it rose 31 slots.
Of the Top Ten Asian teams, only Saudi Arabia slipped lower in the rankings.
