Freestyle wrestling has always been Iran’s best sport, but this year Iran’s Greco-Roman wrestlers actually did better than its freestylers, with all but one of the Greco-Roman wrestlers making it into the medal rounds.
Here is the list of Iran’s wrestlers and how they ended up in the Olympics this year. Each weight division had 16 wrestlers qualified.
