The Fars news agency said the Energy Ministry has handed over two plants each valued at about $800 million.
It quoted Energy Minister Majid Namju as saying the Sabalan power plant was handed over to the Khatam ol-Anbiya Construction Headquarters, which is the engineering arm of the Pasdaran, and the Parand plant was given to the Iran Power Plant Projects Management Co. (MAPNA), which was hived off from the state some years ago.
