The Iran Times checked with the UN World Tourism Office which produced a list of the 47 countries that attracted the most tourists in 2010. Iran was not on the list. Meanwhile, Iran’s Cultural Heritage and Tourism Office announced that it has been decided to drop visa requirements for 60 countries in an effort to attract more tourists. The only country named in the announcement was China.
