The Iran Times often cites the average price for an OPEC barrel as a surrogate for Iran’s price. We are often asked if the two prices differ much. For November, Iran said the average price it received was $74.65, which was 92 cents or 1.2 percent below the OPEC average price of $75.57 in November.
