To battle any possible arrival of the Ebola virus, Iran’s Health Ministry has designated one hospital in each of the country’s 31 provinces to study the appropriate protocols and prepare to handle any disease victims. Most countries are applying precautions at border crossings and international airports to check whether arrivals have been in the impacted West African countries recently. The bulk of Iran’s provinces have no international borders or airports. Iran has no direct flights to West Africa.
