Israel and Bahrain signed a military cooperation agreement February 3, a development certain to stun the Islamic Republic. But Iran appears to have censored the news as the Iran Times has been unable to find reports on the agreement in the Iranian media. That suggests the regime can’t decide how to react. The text of the deal was not released, but Israel said it provided for intelligence cooperation, a framework for joint exercises and ties between defense industries. The Israeli Air Force, meanwhile conducted a drill simulating an attack on Iran’s nuclear program. Israel’s Kan News said the drill included mid-air refueling, but didn’t say over what Arab state the refueling was simulated.
