Interior Minister Abdol-Reza Rahmani-Fazli (photo) says he believes the Islamic State has a plan to attack Iran. “This group has a large plot, and based on our documents, they have a plan for aggression against our country and other countries,” he said, while asserting that Iran is much too powerful to be invaded by the group. He also said his police have arrested an unstated number of Afghans and Pakistanis trying to travel across Iran to join the Islamic State, but that no Iranians want to join the Islamic State.
