A Zoroastrian cleric, Arash Kasravi, who lived in the United States and holds dual Iranian-American citizenship, was murdered July 21 in Kerman, to which he had returned for his father’s funeral. His body was found in the house where he was staying along with the corpses of a nurse and bodyguard who were traveling with him, IranWire reported. No cause of death has been announced. No suspects have been named, but IranWire said there was speculation he was killed in a dispute over inheritance.
