The Basij is putting up posters proclaiming that US Secretary of State John Kerry wishes the United States had a leader like Ali Khamenehi. The posters show pictures of Kerry and Khamenehi with a text saying: “John Kerry has told [Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad] Zarif, ‘All of us in America wish we had a leader like Iran has!’” The posters say they are the responsibility of the Basij, part of the Pasdaran, but they do not say where the Basij got their very imaginative Kerry quotation.
