Spring has passed some parts of Iran by. No sooner were the Now Ruz festivities over when on April 4 the temperature hit 40 degrees Celsius (104 Fahrenheit) in Lamerd in Fars province and in Zabol and Delgan in Sistan va Baluchestan. That same day it hit 41 Celsius (106 Fahrenheit) in Rask and Qasr-e Qand in Sistan. But, hold on, the mercury rose to 42 Celsius (108 Fahrenheit) in Ahram, Bushehr province.
