When President Pezeshkian flew home from the UN, he brought with him 1,100 cuneiform tablets found at Persepolis in the 1930s. This is the latest batch of tablets that the University of Chicago has finished working on. In recent years, it has become something of a tradition for the university to hand the president a batch of tablets while he is at the UN.
