Iranian media have been giving a lot of attention to the fact that Jose Morais (photo), the Portuguese coach of the Sepahan soccer club, has converted to Shia Islam, reporting this as just one of a growing number of cases of Western celebrities converting. A few media outlets have also noted that Morais, 58, is engaged to Iranian actress Shida Maqsoodlou (photo), 27, and Iranian law does not allow a non-Muslim man to marry an Iranian Muslim woman.
