Journal reviewer Joe Morgenstern was extravagant, calling the film “a world-class masterpiece.”
He only briefly listed his choices for 10 best films of the year with “Nader and Simin” in the Number One slot in the Journal issue last Friday. He said he would expand on his views of the film in today’s Journal.
The Journal ranking gives yet another boost to “Nader and Simin.”
Oscar nominations will be announced January 24. Oscar winners will be announced February 26.
