Dr. Asadullah Kalantari, a gynecologist in Esfahan, says a baby girl, Nafas, was born there December 23, 13 years after her embryo was frozen. He said that was the longest-known instance where a frozen human embryo has been successfully delivered in West Asia. He also said the girl was born 13 years after her twin brother, which may make for some difficult explaining in later years.
