US said to be right to hate Iran

, because the Islamic Republic has been the main reason American plots have been foiled around the world.

The spokesman, Ramin Mehman-Parast, was speaking to the Pasdar maritime arm in Bushehr.  He said, “Right after the revolution, the enemies of our nation did not spare any effort to hatch conspiracies and plot sedition, including sowing seeds of discord, assassinations, imposing a full scale war, mounting pressure, devising sanctions, et cetera.   But today our country with its 33-year experience and the leadership of our Supreme Leader is capable of emerging victorious from every challenge.”

The speech was a compilation of many regime claims to greatness and superiority over the Western world.  As is common in regime rhetoric, Mehman-Parast  didn’t name the “enemies” who are pouring out “enmity” for the Islamic Republic.

Mehman-Parast said, “We are now witnesses to the peak of enmity against Iran.  Since Iran is a strong and influential country today, and the penetration of the revolution’s influence and message throughout the region has disabled them in the easy pursuit of their plots in the region, they have increased their pressure against our nation.”

The spokesman said, “The objective of those enmities is to prove to the nations of the world that any country moving toward independence will be faced with difficulties.”

He said, “Last year, the wave of the Islamic Awakening movement  [as the Islamic Republic terms the Arab Spring] disorganized all their plans. The message of our revolution has influenced the regional nations and they have realized that it is possible to achieve power and advancement despite the efforts of the US, Zionists and their allies to create hindrances.”

He said the anger of the United States and the Zionist regime is well justified because they correctly assume the Islamic revolution of Iran has been the main source foiling their plots.

Mehman-Parast said, “The ousting of the West-appointed dictators by their peoples is a horrendous nightmare for the United States and the Zionist regime. The fall of the Mubarak regime in Egypt meant the ousting of the greatest ally of the Zionists, and today the wave of hatred against America and Israel in these counties is quite evident.”

He said, “They understand they have gotten weaker compared to 33 years ago, while the Islamic revolution has gained much greater strength and become an influential power in the region, so that now the public opinion of the entire region is aligned with Iran.”

He said, “Claiming that Iran had planned to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to Washington was one of the funniest baseless claims.  Even in the United States, it was compared to a Hollywood script.”

Mehman-Parast  emphasized, “As long as the three internal necessary conditions of unity and solidarity, absolute obedience to the Supreme Leader, and attachment to the ideals, values and beliefs of the Islamic revolution are preserved and remain intact, the Islamic revolution of Iran cannot be harmed by any of those threats.”

Mehman-Parast cited developments in Syria and said, “The United States is trying to break the ring of resistance and seek an escape hatch for the occupier regime of the Holy Qods, and they have chosen Syria as the platform for such activities.…. They intend to lead the Syrian internal situation toward total chaos.”

He said that after Russia and China vetoed a resolution on Syria in the UN Security Council, “the Western countries … announced that Russia should be denied its veto right.  This means they are trying to create a new power balance.…  They are pushing world public opinion to opposing Russia and China as UN Security Council members.”

Mehman-Parast did not say where he got the idea the West had announced plans to take veto power away from Russia and China.
