The UAE government has announced it has granted a license to the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corp. to have two power plants built by a South Korean-led consortium. Each is to generate 1,400 megawatts (compared to 1,000 megawatts for Iran’s Bushehr nuclear plant) and both are to be completed in 2017. Will they start producing electricity before Bushehr?
