TRENDING DOWNWARD — The daily price of an OPEC barrel (above) is definitely downward oriented now. The price topped out on September 29 and has been trending downward for more than three weeks. But it is still high. And the chart of monthly averages (below) shows that the September average is still higher than for any of the previous six months.
