DOLDRUMS — The daily price isn’t exactly booming (above) but it is up enough that it is pulling the more important monthly average (below) up a bit. The most important long term point, however, is that the world really hasn’t cared that more than half of Iran’s oil has been lost to the market. That occurred at the far left of the monthly chart below. The price of of oil has gone up, but only marginally.
