the price of oil was down compared to the previous five months. It wasn’t down much. But it was down. The daily price (above) continued to be erratic. (Surprise, surprise!) One more thing we can definitely say, the effort by some in OPEC to raise prices by keeping quotas unchanged definitely flopped. And the effort by the major powers to drive prices down by releasing oil stocks definitely flopped.
