HIGH PRICE — The chart this week shows the annual average of the OPEC oil prices for the last 11 years. The average for 2024 was the fourth highest for those 11 years. The OPEC price is the average price of one crude type from each of the 12 OPEC members. But Iran must sell at a discount, so it likely got much less than the average 2024 OPEC price of $77.45 per barrel.
