KABOOM! — The price of an OPEC barrel finally did it—breaking the $60 barrier and rising to $61.05 on Monday. That’s the highest price for an average OPEC barrel in more than two years, since June 12, 2015. But oil was then falling rapidly and ended up in the mid-$20 early in 2016. The price has been slowly and erratically recovering ever since then.
