WAY DOWN — The oil price still slips almost every day. The price as of Friday was $55.52. That was just 28 cents more than the halfway mark down from the June 20 high mark of $110.48. That’s 26 weeks with the price drop averaging just over two dollars a week. The slump is seen more dramatically in the monthly averages below.
