In an interesting shift, Pasdar Maj. Gen. Gholam-Ali Rashid (photo), who commands the Khatam ol-Anbia military headquarters, announced in September that the Islamic Republic now considers the “Zionist regime” to be the Number One threat to Iran’s national security, not the United States. A few days later, the Supreme Leader said Iran is so strong that no military force from any country threatens it.
