Another woman who posted critiques of the regime on Facebook has been sentenced to seven years in prison. Atena Daemi (photo), 27, was jailed last October and sentenced last week, according to the International Campaign for Human Right in Iran (ICHRI). She was arrested and charged based on her Facebook postings protesting the dress code. Then the authorities found some jokes and protest songs by Shahin Najafi on her cellphone. She was also charged for taking part in demonstrations against the death penalty. The Judiciary has recently taken to imposing harsh seven-year terms on Facebook users.
