Last week, President Ahmadi-nejad met with Japan’s new ambassador to Iran and announced that Iran wants to quadruple its trade with Japan from the current $14 billion a year to $50 billion. Now that’s swift retaliation! It wasn’t so long ago that Iran announced it was halting trade with Denmark after a newspaper there published cartoons about the Prophet. A few months later, Iran slammed Denmark hard by dispatching a trade delegation to Copenhagen.
