By a margin of 2-to-1, business leaders around the world do not believe Iran will be a good investment opportunity even five years from now.
The survey was taken by Bloomberg Global Poll. Carried out January 16-17, it queried 477 investors, analysts and traders who are Bloomberg subscribers.
Asked whether Iran would be a viable investment opportunity within the next five years, 29 percent said yes and 57 percent said no. The remaining 14 percent said they had no idea.
It should be noted that Iran does not need a majority seeing Iran as a good opportunity to profit. If only 1 percent of investors found Iran a good prospect and acted on that, Iran would be swamped with investment funds.
