Defense Minister Hossain Dehqan (photo) says Iranian missiles now enjoy “pinpoint precision.” He said, “The margin of error of surface-to-surface missiles was 200 meters in the past. It is now two meters and we will work to make it zero.” If true, that would indeed be a remarkable achievement. The accuracy of the US Minuteman missile is 200 meters and the most modern Peacekeeper or MX missiles had an accuracy or circular error probable (CEP) of 40 meters, so Dehqan is claiming an accomplishment unseen elsewhere in the world.
