The Asian Football Confederation has just sent a team to the UAE to inspect what it has to offer in its bid to host the 2019 Asian Cup. Iran as well as Saudi Arabia and Thailand are also seeking the nod to host the soccer tournament. The inspection team will be looking at such things as stadium facilities, training sites, security provisions and transportation infrastructure.
