Organization of the Islamic Conference had condemned the violation of Iranian airspace by the US drone that landed in Iran December 4. That was a bit of an exaggeration. The OIC said nothing. The secretary general of the organization, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, responding to a letter from Iran’s foreign minister, personally expressed “grave concern” over the airspace violation and appealed to Iran to show utmost restraint to avoid any action that might jeopardize peace or stability. That last part was not reported by IRNA.
