Iran was furious with Brazil, from which it buys large agricultural supplies, when Brazil’s state-run oil company refused to fuel two Iranian cargo ships in keeping with US sanctions. Eventually, a Brazilian court ordered that the Iranian vessels be fueled, and they sailed off loaded with maize.
