After years of ducking and weaving, South Africa’s SASOL business firm has finally pulled out of Iran. SASOL announced Monday that it had sold its stake in Arya Sasol Polymer Co. and now “has no on-going investment in Iran.” Under unending pressure, SASOL announced in November 2011 that it would withdraw from Iran. But it never actually moved forward on that pledge until now.
