In the continuing campaign to paint the United States as trying to “infiltrate” Iran, Friday prayer leader Ahmad Khatami last week said the United States uses “sandwiches” as part of its effort to expand its influence abroad. Khatami said, “Wherever America has aimed at entering a country, it has done so through sandwiches and McDonald’s to open an infiltration window.” We suppose that means China has been wrapped up in the American flag, since the largest McDonald’s in the world is in Beijing. And some of the biggest turnover has been in the main Moscow McDonald’s so Vladimir Putin better watch out.
