Tehran Prosecutor Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi (photo) said Monday that police have arrested three people accused of being the masterminds behind the January 2 attack on the Saudi embassy in Tehran after the Saudis executed Shiite cleric Nimr an-Nimr. That suggests the authorities are portraying the attack as a consciously organized crime and not just as a mob of protesters who got out of hand. Another 60 people have been arrested for participating in the attack, police have said.
