The dollar briefly sold for less than 30,000 rials Saturday. The price has since gone back above 30,000. But the price has held remarkably steady between 30,000 and 31,000 for the two months since mid-September. The price was 36,250 the day before the June election and has not been anywhere near that since Hassan Rohani won that election.
