With no one in Iran’s government willing to raise the price of gasoline at the pump, Iranian drivers now pay less than drivers anywhere else in the world. According to the website GlobalPetrolPrices.com, as of July 15 Iranians paid 10.8 cents per gallon, Libyans paid 11.7 cents and Venezuelans paid 13.2 cents. In no other countries is gasoline less than a dollar a gallon! President Pezeshkian has already announced he will not boost gasoline prices, although the retail price is now lower than it costs the government to produce and deliver the gasoline.
