A pro-government website Sunday quoted Abdol-Hossain Ruh-ol-Amini, father of one of the post-election protesters beaten to death in the Kahrizak detention center, as saying two prison guards convicted in the beatings several months ago had been executed. Ruh-ol-Amini quickly labeled that a lie, saying he had never said any such thing and has still not been told what will happen to the condemned pair.
