World wrestling champion Jordan Burroughs (photo) of the US says he very much misses wrestling in Iran, where he is better known than in the US and has many adoring fans who wildly cheer him on even when he faces Iranians. He last appeared in Iran in February 2017. “Miss my days competing in Iran. Some of the most incredible wrestling fans in the world,” he wrote on his Instagram page. Burroughs has never lost to an Iranian. He further said, “Donald Trump and I have very different views on Iranians. I am confident that if he ever visited the country, he’d learn a lot about the people and come back to the States with a newfound appreciation for the Persians.”
