“It is a great honor for the Pasdaran and the Iranian people to have nourished such individuals who have made the arrogant countries upset and angry,” said Gen. Ramadan Sharif, chief of public relations for the Pasdaran.
Sharif was not one of the 32 Pasdar officers, police generals, prison wardens and Judiciary officials and judges who were cited earlier this month for human rights violations.
“Most of these individuals have made effective and useful contributions to the Islamic ruling system in various fields, and the EU move is a source of honor for us,” Sharif said.
