Nenad Lalovic, president of FILA, the governing body of international wrestling, speaking just before the International Olympic Committee voted on whether to keep wrestling in the Olympics:
“This is the most important day in the 3,000-year history of our sport…. Remaining in the Olympic program is crucial to our survival.”
