A poll taken just after Iran fired missiles at Americans stationed in Iraq finds the US public opposed to President Trump’s Iran policies, though only by a small margin. The poll by Yahoo News and YouGov asked three questions about Iran. Asked if they support or oppose Trump’s approach to Iran, the respondents opposed Trump by 42 percent to 36 percent. Asked if Trump was right to withdraw from the nuclear agreement, the public opposed withdrawal by 40 percent to 35 percent. And asked whether President Obama or Trump was better at handling Iran policy, the public chose Obama by 41 percent to 34 percent.
